FTC13 – Researching for Television

Knowledge is power in TV!

Research is an extremely important aspect of all audiovisual projects. It is also an excellent entry point for those who are interested in working in film & television and is a good place to start a career path towards a range of other jobs in the industry e.g. production, writing and even directing. This short course will cover both the skills required as a television researcher and an overview of what the job involves.

Who should attend this course?

This course is designed for anyone who is interested in a career in television. A background in journalism is a plus, though not necessary. An enquiring mind, computer and organisational skills and the ability to think laterally are all important.
